Rain in parts of PH, including Metro Manila, due to LPA, 4 other weather systems

MANILA, Philippines: At least five weather systems, including the low pressure area (LPA) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), are affecting the country over the next 24 hours, the state-run weather agency said on Thursday.

Weather specialist Daniel James Villamil of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Service Administration (Pagasa) said the LPA (formerly Tropical Depression 'Kabayan'), although outside PAR, is still bringing rains, especially over Kalayaan Islands.
