Abalos to LGUs: Regulate firecracker use

INTERIOR and Local Government Secretary Benjamin 'Benhur' Abalos on Monday urged local government units (LGUs) to pass ordinances prohibiting the use of firecrackers.

Abalos also pushed for supervised fireworks displays in common spaces such as municipal town halls and other designated areas.
