Valdez relishes first championship at Big Dome

ALYSSA Valdez remembers like it was just yesterday when she and the Ateneo Lady Eagles bowed to the De La Salle Lady Spikers in the UAAP Season 78 women's volleyball tournament Finals.

In Game Three of the best-of-3 series on that fateful day of April 30, 2016, Valdez and company suffered a 25-19, 21-25, 16-25, 16-25 painful defeat at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
