Mindoro lawmaker's two bills pass second reading in House

CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro: Two groundbreaking bills filed by a district representative here were passed on second reading during the last session day of the House of Representatives on Dec. 12, 2023.

In posts on his social media page, 1st District Rep. Arnan Panaligan said that his two bills — one seeking to establish a national defense industry to promote a self-reliant defense posture and the other seeking the upgrading of the provincial hospital into a Department of Health-run regional health facility — were approved in the committee levels and passed on second reading.
