Marcos, Kishida agree on early end of RAA talks

TOKYO: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on Sunday agreed to reach an 'early conclusion' of the planned reciprocal access agreement (RAA) between the Philippines and Japan as the two countries vowed to work together to address regional and international challenges.

The commitment was made during the bilateral meeting between Marcos and Kishida on the sidelines of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean)-Japan Commemorative Summit in Tokyo.
