AmCham commends pinyapel initiative

THE American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (AmCham) commended the Pinyapel initiative of the Design Center of the Philippines, as it will add value to pineapple leaves that are mostly discarded.

"This is a great initiative of the Design Center of the Philippines. It's a great example of turning trash to cash while delivering local value addition to materials which would have otherwise been discarded," AmCham Agribusiness Committee Chairman Christopher Ilagan told The Manila Times in a Viber message on Friday.
