Meralco buries 17 threes to beat Converge, secures QF berth

MANILA, Philippines: Meralco caught fire from three-point distance as the Bolts beat woeful Converge, 105-99 to secure a quarterfinal spot in the 2023-24 PBA Commissioner's Cup on Sunday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

The Bolts knocked down 17 triples in the game, establishing leads of as big as 29, before holding off the FiberXers' last-ditch fourth quarter rally to win their fourth straight.
