House committee OKs NEPC Bill

BACOLOD CITY: Abang Lingkod Partylist Rep. Stephen Paduano confirmed that the bill granting a franchise to the Negros Electric Power Corp. (NEPC) was unanimously approved by the House Committee on Legislative Franchises with minor amendments on Wednesday, December 13.

In a press conference on Friday, December 15, Paduano said he expects the bill to be deliberated when Congress resumes in January next year.
