Six suspected New People's Army (NPA) rebels and a soldier were killed in a fierce gun battle in Batangas Sunday.
Lt. Col. Hector Estolas, 2nd Infantry Division Public Affairs Office chief, said three other army troopers were wounded in the clash that took place in Brgy Malalay, Balayan, Batangas.
