Swiss Re acquires UK specialist on flood risk intelligence

Zurich, Switzerland: Insurance giant Swiss Re said Thursday it has acquired Fathom, a British specialist in water-related climate risks such as flooding.

Fathom, created in 2012 by researchers at Bristol University, helps organizations in their analysis, understanding and response to flood risk and the changing climate landscape.
