Peso, PSEi post gains as week ends

THE peso and stock market ended the week stronger with sentiment said to have improved.

The currency strengthened by 14 centavos to P55.655 against the dollar while the benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) added 67.96 points, or 1.06 percent, to 6,478.44.
