SSI Group, Prada form joint venture

SPECIALTY retailer SSI Group Inc. on Friday said that it had entered into a joint venture with Italian fashion house Prada S.p.A. to own and operate all existing and future Prada stores in the Philippines.

In a disclosure, SSI said that wholly owned subsidiary Stores Specialists Inc. on Thursday subscribed to around 16.67 million common shares of Prada Philippines, Inc. at a par value of P1.00 per share.
