SEN. Christopher "Bong" Go on Thursday called on the public to wear masks amid the increasing cases of Covid-19 and of influenza-like illnesses in the country.
"With the 36 percent increase in the number of Covid-19 cases and the rising cases of influenza-like illnesses, as chair of the Senate Health Committee, I urge everyone, especially high-risk individuals and those with comorbidities, to voluntarily wear face masks as much as possible," said Go in a statement.
