On Thursday, BoI said in its statement that it conducted a two-day business activity from December 5-6 in Budapest, Hungary, with 70 Hungarian companies engaged in agriculture, agro-processing, renewable energy, manufacturing, automotive, health care and cosmetics, industrial machinery and furniture; information and technology, and software solutions; waste management, water technology, among others.
A memorandum of understanding and potential partnerships in digital technologies, subcontracted manufacturing in electronics, research and development; poultry breeding and meat processing; logistics and transport services; as well as in labor and recruitment were also sealed, while a number of return visits of Hungarians to the Philippines in 2024 are also expected to realize the partnerships.
