Sy-Coson: SM Group 'cautiously optimistic'

SY-LED conglomerate SM Investments Corp. (SMIC) is 'cautiously optimistic' about prospects next year in the face of ongoing geopolitical and global challenges, a top executive said late on Wednesday.

'We are cautiously optimistic because there is geopolitical, there is climate change; so many things are not predictable,' SMIC Vice Chairman Teresita Sy-Coson told reporters at the sidelines of a corporate event in Makati.
