BANK of Commerce (BankCom), an affiliate of San Miguel Corp (SMC), said Thursday that it was upbeat on the market potential of its "SikapPinoy Asenso" service, a remittance, savings, and investment platform for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Japan.
BankCom said it saw growth potential following a central bank report that the remittances from OFWs as of end-September had risen to 2.8 percent to US$27.24 billion from $26.49 billion.
