S. Tagalog jeepney drivers to join strike

CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro: Traditional jeepney drivers and operators in Southern Tagalog Region will be joining the two-day transport strike on December 14-15 to oppose the implementation of the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP).

This PUBVMP launched by the Department of Transportation in 2017 has the goal of making the country's public transportation system efficient and environmentally friendly.
