PH votes for UN resolution for ceasefire in Gaza

(UPDATE) THE Philippines voted in favor of the United Nations resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza 'to halt the loss of life and suffering' in the Palestinian enclave under heavy bombardment by Israel.

Philippine Permanent Representative to UN Ambassador Antonio Lagdameo explained the Philippines' position during the 10th emergency special session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA).
