THE future of Technical and Vocational Education and Training will encounter numerous obstacles and uncertainties as 2025 to 2030 draws near, necessitating immediate attention and effective measures, an international intergovernmental organization for human resources development of TVET training said.
The Colombo Plan Staff College (CPSC) said the quickening rate of technical development and the growing industrial automation provide one of TVET's biggest obstacles with emerging technologies like robotics, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things changing the workforce.
