MANILA, Philippines: Calvin Oftana's second half shooting clinic stole the thunder from Asi Taulava's retirement and Robert Bolick's debut as TNT hammered NLEX, 113-97 to get back on the winning track in the 2023-24 PBA Commissioner's Cup on Wednesday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig.
The Cebuano hotshot scored 19 of his 29 points in a critical third quarter run that saw the Tropang Giga outscore the Road Warriors, 41-20 to overhaul a 19-point halftime deficit en route to grabbing an 80-78 lead.
