MERALCO may have lost its first two games, but the Bolts are shooting for a win and a payback when they collide once more with reigning Japan B.League champions Ryukyu Golden Kings on Wednesday evening in their 2023-24 East Asia Super League home-and-away tournament at the Studio City in Macau.

The Bolts got crushed during their first meeting last November by the Golden Kings, 89-61 in Okinawa, Japan. With the Japanese squad waxing hot from three-point territory, thanks to its 25 assists, the Golden Kings completely outclassed the Bolts, who at that time only played with one import in Prince Ibeh.
