Region 1 records 296 HIV cases

DAGUPAN CITY: The Department of Health (DoH) Regional Office in San Fernando City, La Union recorded 296 human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) cases in the first six months of the year.

In a press statement issued on Tuesday, December 12, the DoH said that this brings to 3,051 the HIV cases in Region 1 (Ilocos) since 1984.
