Scammer victimizing govt execs arrested

AN alleged member of a syndicate that uses vishing and phone spoofing to victimize local government officials has been arrested in Lingayen, Pangasinan.

The suspect, identified as Larry Abalos, purportedly impersonates the voice of Interior and Local Government Secretary Benjamin 'Benhur' Abalos Jr. to dupe people to give money.
