SEN. Mary Grace Poe has called anew for the review of the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP) saying it lacks safety nets for drivers and operators who will bear the brunt of the December 31 consolidation deadline.

The senator said that the program will get a P1.6 billion budget next year, but it does not include measures to protect the livelihood of some 300,000 drivers.
