"We recognize the critical role that our standards on clean rooms and associated controlled environments play in advancing global trade, fostering innovation and ensuring the protection of product or process integrity in applications in industries such as aerospace, life sciences, microelectronics, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, health care and food," DTI-BPS Director Neil Catajay said on Monday.
Catajay made the statement following the conduct of the agency's first day of its 35th plenary meeting with the International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee on clean rooms and associated controlled environment (ISO/TC 209) on December 7 in Makati City.
