PPA readies for 5.1M holiday passengers

THE Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) is gearing up for the long holiday from Dec. 16, 2023 to Jan. 5, 2024, with expanded facilities and streamlined operations, anticipating a passenger increase to 5.1 million from last year's 4.7 million.

'On December 18, a soft launch will unveil the expansion of Batangas port facilities, doubling the existing passenger capacity from 3,500 to 8,000,' PPA General Manager Jay Daniel Santiago said.
