Chinese aircraft carrier passes through Taiwan Strait – Taipei

TAIPEI: A Chinese naval formation led by the Shandong aircraft carrier sailed through the Taiwan Strait on Monday, Taipei's Defense Ministry said.

The carrier group entered the strait that separates the self-governing, democratic island and mainland China, travelling from north to south, the ministry said.
