THE House of Representatives has named Camarines Sur 2nd District Rep. Luis Raymund "LRay" Villafuerte Jr. as chairman of the ad hoc committee tasked to study the possible transfer of the House offices to Bonifacio Global City (BGC) from Batasan Hills, Quezon City.
"The rationale behind this plan to put the House and the Senate close to each other is meant to facilitate better communication and coordination among the lawmakers of both chambers with regard to legislative work," Villafuerte said in a statement on Sunday.
