MANILA, Philippines: There was a steady increase in passenger volume and flight movement in the country's main gateway during the fourth quarter of 2023, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said Monday.
In November, MIAA recorded 3,813,781 passengers — 2,019,882 domestic and 1,793,899 international travelers. This represents an increase of 23 percent compared to the same period last year and is nearly equivalent to 97 percent of the passenger count in November 2019, before the Covid-19 pandemic.
