JAKARTA: Indonesia's government blames a surge in human trafficking for the increasing number of Rohingya Muslims that have entered the Southeast Asian country over the past few weeks, its leader said on Friday.

In a televised news conference, President Joko Widodo said he received "reports about the increasing number of Rohingya refugees entering Indonesian territory, especially Aceh province."
