MANILA, Philippines: Magnolia Chicken Timplados played steady down the stretch to subdue an injury-plagued San Miguel Beer, 94-90 to zoom to a 7-0 start in the 2023-24 PBA Commissioner's Cup on Sunday at the Philsports Arena.
Tyler Bey led the Hotshots' charged-up offense after finishing with 31 points and 20 rebounds, while vastly-improved big man James Laput scored all 14 of his points in the second half to extend his team's perfect start at seven games.
