BACOLOD CITY: The intelligence officer of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) who was caught on the closed-circuit television (CCTV) brandishing her gun at a restobar here is facing charges for grave threats, and alarm and scandal after the manager and waiter of the restobar filed charges before the City Prosecutor's Office on Wednesday, December 6.

In a statement released by the complainants, they said that NBI intelligence officer Jana Marie Navales "holds a position of responsibility in maintaining the principles of justice. However, we maintain that nobody is above the law, and we trust that the legal process will ensure fair resolution to this matter."
