SEN. Christopher "Bong" Go early last week filed a bill aimed at increasing the salaries of civilian personnel in the Philippine government in response to current economic conditions and in recognition of the crucial role state employees play in ensuring unhampered public service delivery.
Senate Bill (SB) 2504, also known as the "Salary Standardization Law 6 (SSL6)," seeks to build upon the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 11466, or the "Salary Standardization Law 5 (SSL5)," that Go co-authored and co-sponsored in 2019.
