(UPDATE) TWO weather systems are prevailing in the country, bringing hot, humid weather and isolated rains, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Saturday.

Presently, the easterlies or the hot wind coming from the Pacific Ocean is affecting most parts of the country, bringing hot, humid weather with isolated rain showers; the northeast monsoon or "amihan," on the other hand, has continued to weaken, also bringing rain showers over extreme Northern Luzon.
