PhilMech distributes P398.5B in equipment

THE Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PhilMech) distributed about P398.54-million worth of agricultural assistance and equipment in Nueva Ecija, the biggest single-day distribution of farm machines made by the agency.

An agency under the Department of Agriculture, PhilMech distributed 125 units of farm equipment to 88 qualified farmers' cooperatives, associations (FCAs) and local government units (LGUs) on Thursday in Nueva Ecija, a major rice-producing province.
