Phivolcs to public: Heed tsunami warnings

THE Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) called on the public to take tsunami advisories seriously, after noticing that some warnings were not heeded.

Phivolcs Director Teresito Bacolcol was referring to the November 17 magnitude 6.8 in Davao Occidental and December 2 magnitude 7.4 in Surigao del Sur.
