1 dead, 5 others injured in Maguindanao del Sur blast

MANILA, Philippines: One person was killed and five others were wounded following an explosion in Maguindanao del Sur shortly after midnight on Friday, a report from the Police Regional Office in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) said.

The blast in South Upi occurred while victims were preparing for a family event at Sitio Mafran, Barangay Pilar.
