The UST Growling Tigresses denied the NU Lady Bulldogs of an 8-peat with a 71-69 win in the decider of the UAAP Season 86 women's basketball best-of-three Finals series, wresting their first title in 17 years at the Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday, December 6.
