THE quality of education is one of the biggest challenges facing the education sector in the Philippines, stakeholders admitted on Wednesday.
"For me, the biggest challenge we are facing now in education is the quality that we are providing to our students. We've seen so many studies both locally and internationally that our students are really lagging behind in terms of competencies, skills, knowledge, and competencies in math, English, science," Philippine Association of Private Schools, Colleges and Universities (Papsu) President Antonio del Carmen said in a press conference.
