LTFRB slaps 90-day suspension on Ceres bus company

THE Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has ordered a 90-day suspension on the operation of Ceres bus company on Wednesday, December 6, after one of its buses fell into a ravine in Hamtic, Antique around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, killing at least a dozen people including the bus driver, conductor, and line inspector.

Aside from issuing the suspension of all the bus units of Ceres bus company regularly traveling the area, LTFRB chairman Teofilo Guadiz 3rd also ordered an immediate investigation into the accident.
