SMNI host gets contempt citation

THE House Committee on Legislative Franchises on Tuesday slapped Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI) host Jeffrey 'Ka Eric' Celiz with contempt citation over his refusal to answer the panel's questions.

During Tuesday's hearing, Celiz refused to identify the source of the report on the supposed P1.8-billion travel funds of Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, which he mentioned on his SMNI public affairs show 'Laban Kasama ang Bayan.'
