New peace talks with communist rebels 'a deal with the devil,' says Sara Duterte

MANILA, Philippines: Vice President Sara Duterte said the decision to hold peace talks anew with the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) was 'a deal with the devil.'

Duterte said this in a statement on the 5th anniversary of the founding of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (Ntf-Elcac).
