THE Philippines will receive $10 billion in climate financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) between 2024 and 2029 to help the country meet commitments under a 2015 climate change treaty.
"The battle against climate change will be won or lost in Asia and the Pacific and nowhere is this more evident than in the Philippines," the ADB quoted its president, Masatsugu Asakawa, as having told a financing dialogue at the ongoing Conference of the Parties 28 (COP28) climate talks in Dubai.
