Ex-Cabinet exec is next MAP chief

AYALA Group executive and former Cabinet official Rene Almendras has been chosen to lead the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) next year.

The 63-year-old, currently senior managing director at Ayala Corp., will be the MAP's 76th president, replacing lawyer/accountant Benedicta Du-Baladad.
