THE Iloilo Bahandi Chapter of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP), together with its industry partner and honorary member, Davies Paints Philippines Inc., and the Iloilo Emerald Lions Club, joined forces last November 15 in Iloilo to collaborate with the Santa Barbara Comprehensive National High School's Youth for Environment in School Organization (YES-O) for the project "Pinta-Kawsa."
This was a paint-for-a-cause event involving the upscaling of recyclable materials as a response to global warming concerns and to promote the reduction of garbage disposal. It also aimed to spread awareness that, in our little way, we can convert trash into something art-worthy and beneficial to the community.
