MVP back as PLDT president, CEO

PLDT Inc. Chairman Manuel Pangilinan will reassume the posts of president and CEO at the telco a little over two years after passing the baton to Alfredo Panlilio, who will step down at the end of this year due to an undisclosed health matter.

'The board of directors of PLDT accepted the retirement of Mr. Panlilio as president and chief executive officer of PLDT and Smart Communications, Inc. with effect 31st December 2023 due to health reasons,' the telco told the stock exchange on Tuesday.
