THE Philippines, through the Philippine Mineral Reporting Code Committee (PMRCC), gained international recognition from the Committee for Mineral Reserves International Reporting Standards (CRIRSCO) after being accepted as its 15th member. The country's acceptance in CRIRSCO enhances the transparency and credibility of the Philippine mining sector.
