Growing up in the Philippines, merienda was one of my favorite Tagalog words. Not only do I associate it with delicious Filipino food but it also reminds me of idyllic moments of childhood where my parents and I would sit down in the afternoon with our own version of the banana split and just talk about life and everything in between.

My love for merienda is what drew me to Narra, an Asian-inspired beverage company that is shaking up one's daily routine.
