THIS might seem like a coincidence, but the three books I got hold of recently to review the topic organization and motivation in my educational leadership and management class highlighted the concept of organizations having a sense of "purpose" and why this serves as the foundation of many other factors that motivate people.

The books I am referring to are "The Culture Code: The Secrets of Highly Successful Groups" by Daniel Coyle, "Drive: The Surprising Truth that Motivates Us" by Daniel Pink, and "The Purpose Factor: Extreme Clarity for Why You're Here and What to Do About It" by Brian Bosche.
