ON November 20, in the grand setting of the New York Stock Exchange, Virtualness (https://virtualness.io) made history by ringing the closing bell, a ceremonial act celebrating the growing influence of the creator economy. Coinciding with National Entrepreneurship Month, this event showcased creators as pivotal entrepreneurs shaping a $100 billion industry. The creator economy is a dynamic industry where independent content creators, artists, and influencers use digital platforms to publish and monetize diverse content. This economy, empowered by technology, allows creators to earn through various channels like advertising, sponsorships and subscriptions, maintaining independence and direct audience engagement.

Regrettably, prior commitments prevented my attendance at this landmark event. My connection to this event goes beyond mere observation. This celebration holds personal significance for me. I was one of the five finalists selected by Virtualness to receive an Artist Grant through a joint Open Call with The Hug platform. My generative art piece, "Sip of Serenity," rendered in pointillism and intricate penwork, is now minted on the Virtualness app. As a coffee producer, I love to capture the essence of a coffee enthusiast, cradling a cup that evokes the vastness of the universe.
